3-Day Muscle Building Programs

Three sessions a week are enough to build muscle as long as each has heavy compound lifts and the load keeps climbing. Pick by experience: full body or 5×5 for beginners, a classic split or push/pull/legs once you have some training behind you.

Muscle isn't built in the gym alone: you need a small calorie surplus, 1.6–2 g of protein per kg and 7–9 hours of sleep.
