Also known as: cable standing back wrist curl, behind the back cable wrist curl, standing cable wrist curl
Cable Behind-The-Back Wrist Curl is a isolation exercise for the forearms. Main target: forearm flexors. Equipment: cable.
How to do it
- Attach a straight bar to a low pulley and stand facing away from the machine, holding the bar behind your back with palms facing backward, arms straight.
- Step forward slightly so the cable is taut and let the bar roll down toward your fingers.
- Curl your wrists up behind you, lifting the bar with your forearms only — the arms stay straight.
- Pause briefly at the top, then lower the bar back onto extended fingers under control.
