Muscles worked
How to do it
- Lie on a flat bench holding a barbell with an underhand (reverse) grip about shoulder-width apart, arms extended over your chest.
- Keeping your upper arms vertical and elbows tucked in, bend the elbows to lower the bar toward your forehead.
- Stop just short of touching, then extend your arms back up, squeezing the triceps at the top.
- Use a lighter weight than a regular skullcrusher — the reverse grip demands more wrist control.
