Also known as: banded wrist extension, reverse wrist curl with band
Band Reverse Wrist Curl is a isolation exercise for the forearms. Main target: forearm extensors. Equipment: bands.
How to do it
- Sit down and anchor the band under your feet, gripping the free end with your palm facing down and your forearm resting on your thigh so the wrist hangs just past the knee.
- Let the band flex your wrist down, keeping the forearm pressed into the thigh.
- Raise the back of your hand up as far as it goes, squeezing the forearm extensors at the top.
- Return down under control and repeat; then switch hands.
