Band Reverse Calf Raise
Also known as: band single leg reverse calf raise, tibialis raise band, banded dorsiflexion, reverse calf raise
Band Reverse Calf Raise is a isolation exercise for the calves. Main target: tibialis anterior. Equipment: bands.
How to do it
- Sit with your working leg extended and loop a band around the top of your foot, anchoring the other end in front of you (or under the opposite foot).
- Start with your toes pointed away so the band is taut.
- Pull your toes up and toward your shin against the band's resistance, keeping the heel on the floor.
- Hold the contraction briefly, then return to the pointed position under control. Switch feet after the set.
